The Catechist Page

All we can ever say is thank-you and that will never be enough to express our gratitude for each of the high quality individuals who call themselves "Catechist" here at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Signing on for such an endeavor can be a little intimidating, filled with question such as, "do I have the right information?", "am I qualified?", or "do I have the time?". I can assure you, with the help of the Holy Spirit, the only answer to these questions is YES!

In addition, our catechists are supported by CORE team members who create easy to follow lesson plans for each week. The Faith Formation staff, the Priests and Deacons are also ready to answer any of your questions.

We are always looking for individuals who love their faith and are willing to share it with the youngest members of our Parish community. If you are considering the call to serve in this capacity, please contact the RE office and we will set you up with a mentor you can shadow.

Thank you again for all you do for OLMC!
