A Handy Summary of Jesus' Message
(based on the readings from Thursday of the Fourth Week of Easter)

Jesus knew he would be betrayed. He knew by whom he would be betrayed. And he knew it would be soon. He certainly had his disciples’ attention since he had just undertaken the jarring activity of washing their feet, a task that could not be required of even the lowliest Jewish slave.
