Religious Education

Religious Education is a lifelong commitment to learning about the Catholic faith. While we offer Religious Education for children, it is important to remember that you, the parents or guardians of the children, are considered to be the primary teachers of the faith. We offer opportunities for all adults in the parish to grow their faith in order to support our endeavor to teach your children about the faith. Thank you for all you do for your children, while helping us share our beliefs with them! May God bless your family as you grow together in the faith.

"On another occasion he began to teach by the sea. A very large crowd gathered around him so that he got into a boat on the sea and sat down. And the whole crowd was beside the sea on land. And he taught them at length in parables."
Mark 4: 1-2

"The Church's catechesis-and even more so, the catechist-must take into consideration all the human factors of a particular age level in order to present the Gospel message in a vital and compelling way. From infancy through maturity, "catechesis is thus a permanent school of the faith and follows the major stages of life. (CT, no. 591)'"
