ALL ARE WELCOME ON THE JOURNEY

Dear Teens,

Welcome to the Journey! Your years in junior and senior high school can be one of the most challenging and exciting times of your life. The Youth Ministry Programs at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel are designed for your ongoing faith formation and spiritual growth. These programs and more importantly, the relationships that will be formed, can enrich your life and support you through the good and the bad times.

There are many opportunities available to you on the Journey, something for everyone. It is my personal hope that you will take advantage of the programs and events in place and offer new ideas or suggestions for programs in the future.

Youth Ministry begins in Grade 7 and continues through Senior year in High School. You are given the opportunity in Grades 7 & 8 to share and grow in your faith in Youth Ministry Class Sessions and Retreat experiences. In High School, you are invited to participate in the Companions Program, Crossroads Retreat experiences, Faith Alive and various Service and Peer Ministry opportunities through the Connections Program.

The Youth Ministry Programs will only be as good as the Participants who become involved. I invite you to choose to make the Journey at our Parish a better program through YOUR participation. Give it a try, we’ll have a great time. See you on the Journey!
