July 8 – What People Under 40 Are Doing Right

Often misunderstood, young adults today are actually on the road to making a real difference in society and in the Church. Using real-life examples of young adults in the Chicago area, this presentation will show us that our Catholic faith actually gives us the tools to change and transform our world.

July 15 – Eucharist: What Feeds You?

Investigate how the hungers of the human heart are met in the person of Jesus Christ, who longs to feed us with the Bread of Life. Discuss how the extraordinary gift of Christ, present to us and in us, challenges us on how we are to live out our lives.

July 22 – Whatever Happened to Sin?

Discover a deeper understanding of morality and reconciliation in our world and in our Church.

Friar Johnpaul Cafiero, a Franciscan priest of the Sacred Heart Province. Presently he serves as the Illinois State Police
Chaplain. He has a doctorate in theology from the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein. He is a popular preacher, teacher, mission leader, and motivational speaker in and around the Chicago area.

July 29 – Finding God in All Things

Exploring how Ignatian spirituality can be an excellent tool for young adults in their prayer lives and in their spiritual journey in everyday life at work and at home.

Jenene Francis, Associate Director of Charis Ministries, an outreach of the Jesuits of the Chicago Province,which brings Ignatian spirituality to young adults. Jenene joined Charis after many years working as a Manager and Senior R&D Engineer at the Procter and Gamble Company.
