Grief Support Sessions to Begin Again February 23 Upcoming OLMC Events Volume 2: Issue 3 Page 3 The Bereavement Ministry of OLMC will be offering another six session grief support group beginning Thursday, February 23, 2006   7:00 p . m . to 8:30 p . m . The sessions are held in the rectory located next door to the church .   Parishioner Lin Bresnahan, LCSW will serve as the facilitator of the group . Lin has her own counseling practice and is experienced in grief work .   The session dates are: February 23, March 9, March 23, March 30, April 20, April 27, May 11 . The final gathering is a very special Mass of Remembrance .   This support group is open to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one whether it be a spouse, a child, a parent, sib - ling or dear friend .   Whatever the nature of your loss, you are invited to consider partici - pating in this group .   If there are other family members whom you feel would benefit by par - ticipating, please feel free to invite them to join you . It matters not when you lost a loved one .   If you feel you need some support at this time, please feel free to attend . A variety of topics re - lated to the grieving process will be discussed .   A book will be given to each participant at the first session . If you feel the need, you may participate in the grief group even if you have already com - pleted a series .   There is a once a month ongo - ing grief group that meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7 p . m . in the church base - ment, as well .   There is no charge to participate in this group and it is not limited to OLMC pa - rishioners .   If you have any questions or wish to reg - ister for the group, call the parish office or talk with Margaret Pinas .   Courageous Women Bible Study Tuesday mornings 9:30 — 11:00 a . m . and Tuesday evenings    7:00 — 8:30 p . m . Explore the interesting and important women ‘behind the scenes’ of our Salvation History .   We will be using the book “Courageous Women” by Stacy Mitch as our study aid .   Contact Margaret if you are interested .   The study groups have offered people a wonderful opportunity to learn more about scripture as well as to share faith and ideas in a non - threatening atmosphere .   Whether you have experience with bible studies or not - we’d love to have you!! A donation of $10 is suggested for the book, but not required .
