“We are convinced that the energy and resources we devote to adult faith formation will strengthen and invigorate all the charisms that adults receive and the activities they undertake, in the Church and in society, to serve the Gospel of Christ and the people of today. For such reasons as these, the Church wisely and repeatedly insists that adult faith formation is essential to who we are and what we do as Church and must be situated not at the periphery of the Church’s educational mission but at its center” (USCCB-Our Hearts were burning within Us).

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel fully embraces the importance placed upon adult formation in parish life as outlined by the U.S. Catholic Bishops. The Adult Faith Team strives to provide a vibrant learning environment that inspires, informs and challenges adult Catholics to embrace their faith, deepen their relationship with our Lord and live a Gospel life. We invite you to join us as we strive to become better informed Catholics empowered to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
